What you need to know about paying for standard laboratory tests
Your doctor sends your sample to Mammoth Dx for diagnostic testing
Mammoth Dx conducts the required tests and the pathologist sends the diagnosis to your doctor
Depending on your healthcare plan, your insurance company will assess if any payment is necessary
If your insurance company determines that you need to make a payment, Mammoth Dx will issue a bill and expect payment upon receipt
Please keep in mind that your doctor may not have details regarding the billing for your lab testing. Instead, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company, which is NOT a bill from Mammoth Dx. If you need to locate providers within your insurance network, it is recommended to contact your insurance company directly.
